The majority are looking to lose a couple of pounds, but this diet system not only helps with that, but it’s suppose to help with indigestion, fatigue and muscle pain in addition to other health problems.

After trying the low carb diet, if after eating all those proteins, it left you feeling uncomfortable, then this diet might be for you. This diet system is concentrated on alkaline foods. This is better for you and your health given that humans have a more alkaline pH. Consuming alkaline foods will help you balance your body’s pH. A good number of us have an acidic eating habit, like eating wheat, animal protein and dairy products. With the pH diet your eating habits will be concentrated on veggies, fruits, vegetarian proteins food and some alternative grains.

Dr. Robert Young, the creator of this diet, describes in his book how people’s health problems are due to the excess acid consumed. In his book, Young states that nasal congestion, chronic fatigue, headaches, excess mucus production, frequent colds and infections, stress, anxiety, dry hair, dry skin, frail nails, muscle ache, hives, leg cramps and arthritis are caused by excess acidity in your body.

If you are looking at this list and realize that you have one or more of those symptoms, then it might be time to look at your acidic intake, because it might be to blame. The best way to start is by looking at what and how much you’re eating of this high acid food, like dairy products and animal proteins. Looking back, if those problems have been keeping you from doing the things you love then it might be time to look at the benefits of the pH miracle diet and maybe give it a try.

On the pH diet you will be eating selected proteins that have a low level of acid. Those proteins are mostly beans, nuts and tofu which are considered alkaline proteins.

If you are a veggies lover, and like to practice vegetarian diets this might be for you. Maybe given up meat for a day or so and see if this will make you feel better, this might positive for you. You will not find any meat on this diet and goat milk is the only dairy product this is consider as alkaline. The main protein on this diet is the tofu.

You’re going to gain from this diet if you don’t eat a lot of veggies or are a fan of processed food. Manufactured foods don’t contain many nutrients. This can be a hazard to your health and you will suffer from malnutrition even if you feel satisfied. If you concentrate on fresh foods and veggies your body will gain from the vitamins and minerals. Adding alkaline foods will improve your health greatly.
